Last week I created a post on how to prepare your lips for a matte color.

Matte lipsticks are beautiful colors, but beware they can look like a hot mess if you do not prepare your lips correctly.

Lipsticks from their permanent collection: Sweet and Sour, Dare You, Shy Girl, Créme Cup, Lickable, Créme In Your Coffee, Creme d’ Nude, Modesty, Speed Dial, Fanfare, Speak Louder, Ravishing, Crosswires, Hot Gossip, Party Line, Hang-Up, On Hold, Brave Red, Saigon Summer, Peach Blossum, Shanghai Spice, Coral Bliss, Pink Pearl Pop, Sunny Seoul, Pure Zen, Japanese Maple.

This formula is great for everyday use because it does not dry out the lips. For me, the light colors for this finish do not work for me and make me look like a skeleton, but many people can pull these colors off. These aren’t very opaque but they are very moisturizing.

They are not as glossy or shiny as other finishes but it isn’t completely matte which I absolutely love. These lipsticks are so opaque and creamy.

This has to be my favorite finish from Mac.This week I will post up only half of the finishes and next week I will finish up with the rest! Now before I buy a lipstick from Mac, I make sure that it is the formula and color that I like. So I began researching my formulas and from there, the rest is history. I had no idea that there were different formulas. Then I read the bottom of the lipstick and it said “Cremesheen”. It didn’t go on as pretty as I thought it would. I chose a light pink color and when I went home, I was surprised. I had heard many great things about Mac lipsticks. When I first started my lipstick collection, I went to Mac. I promise you, this will be very helpful.
